Pentanet Managing Director Stephen Cornish has been announced as a finalist for not one, but two of CEO Magazine’s 2021 Executive of the Year Awards.
The CEO Magazine’s Executive of the Year Awards celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of CEOs, managing directors and senior management of Australia’s leading organisations. We’re proud to say that Steve is a finalist in both the Entrepreneur of the Year category and the Young Executive of the Year category of the 10th annual Executive of the Year Awards.
Steve’s nominations come after an extremely busy year in which he lead the charge to secure Pentanet’s formal alliance agreement with NVIDIA to bring GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet to Australia, navigated a complicated and massively successful IPO listing on the ASX, and oversaw ‘Project Gigalink’, which resulted in the testing, development and expansion of neXus, Pentanet’s new wireless network for Perth.
The 2021 awards night will be hosted at The Star in Sydney on 24 February 2022, so we’ll have to wait a little longer to know whether Steve will be bringing a trophy back to WA. It won’t be easy, though. He’s in extremely good company, with both categories stacked full of brilliant, forward-thinking executives from some of the most exciting businesses around Australia.
