The end of 2021 marked Deloitte’s 21st year of running the Technology Fast 50 Australia, and we’re proud to share that Pentanet has been ranked #30 on the year’s list of the fastest-growing technology companies in the country with a growth rate of 516% over the period.

“The companies appearing on this year’s Tech Fast 50 list have shown themselves to be outstanding leaders in their fields.”

— Dominic Stevens, ASX Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Australia’s technology sector is now the second largest on the Australian stock exchange after seeing a significant growth curve on the back of digitisation efforts brought on by the pandemic. The 2021 list featured numerous innovative disruptors, with Pentanet being one of just four Western Australian companies on the list. The development of new technologies was a key focus for winners in various industries and the importance of adopting new tech was highlighted in the foreword presented on behalf of DLA Piper, a global law firm that sponsors the award.“The current environment has ensured that companies that evolve to new technology have a greater chance of thriving in the digital age.”

— Amber Matthews, DLA Piper Managing Partner Australia

516% growth is a mammoth achievement for the team, especially considering that this was sustained over a time when a huge portion of the company’s resources were dedicated to the research and development phases of GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet and Pentanet neXus, two market-defining services both set to have their first full years of operation in the 2022 financial year.

Pentanet exists to bring people together, inspire impactful innovation and to lead the digital edge for Australia and beyond. We’re extremely proud of the growth that Pentanet has been able to achieve through 2021 and can’t wait to see what the new financial year brings once Perth gets its hands on neXus!
